Araujo will be on the sidelines until the latter stages of this year due to the hamstring operation that he underwent in the middle of July, with a return date unclear at this stage of proceedings.<\/p>\n

Gavi continues to recover from the serious knee injury that he suffered while representing Spain towards the end of last year, but he is expected to be available before the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

Christensen remains on the treatment table with an Achilles problem, and it is understood that the Denmark international will not be available until the start of November.<\/p>\n

Fermin suffered a fresh thigh problem during a recent training session, and the Spain international will be on the sidelines until at least the clash with Sevilla after the international break.<\/p>\n

Barcelona will be missing their number one goalkeeper Ter Stegen for the remainder of the season due to the serious knee injury that he suffered in the 5-1 win over Villarreal.<\/p>\n
Inigo Martinez

\nPossible return date: October 6 (vs. Alaves)<\/p>\n
Barcelona will need to assess Martinez after he was forced off against Young Boys with a muscular issue, but the centre-back did insist after the match that he would be available for the trip to Alaves.<\/p>\n
