Deco has now clarified in an interview with Diario Sport that while Barcelona considered Rashford, they were never desperate to sign him in the winter window.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe winter market is always tricky. In the past, there were key moments for Bar\u00e7a, like the signing of Davids, but there\u2019s no player like him available now,\u201d he explained. \u201cIt\u2019s tough because the top players, the ones who could make an impact, aren\u2019t on the market. Rashford was mentioned, but we weren\u2019t urgently looking for a player. We knew we were getting some players back and others were improving. If Rashford had come, that would have been great, but it wasn\u2019t a priority.\u201d<\/p>\n
