Barcelona\u2019s clash against Osasuna has been postponed to a later date following the tragic death of the Catalan club\u2019s first-team doctor Carles Minarro Garcia.<\/p>\n
The match, originally set to begin at 20:00 GMT, was canceled just before kickoff. At 7:45\u202fPM on Saturday, Barcelona confirmed the tragic news on X (formerly Twitter) with a statement that read:<\/p>\n
\u201cFC Barcelona is deeply saddened to announce the passing of first-team doctor Carles Mi\u00f1arro Garcia this evening. For this reason, the match between FC Barcelona and CA Osasuna has been postponed to a later date.\u201d<\/p>\n
The club also expressed that the FC Barcelona Board of Directors and all staff extend their heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.<\/p>\n
Osasuna issued a similar statement regarding the postponed game at the Estadi Ol\u00edmpic Llu\u00eds Companys, saying:<\/p>\n
