After Bilbao match, Flick asks Laporta to get rid of 4 Barcelona players quickly

Spanish press reports have revealed the latest developments regarding the players who are expected to leave Barcelona’s first football team during the current summer transfer window. Hans Flick is looking to offload the players who are not part of his plans for the new season, and the departure of some players will also help Barcelona in registering new signings.

According to Spanish journalist Atio Morito, Barcelona’s current priority is to facilitate the exit of Clement Lenglet, Mikael Fay, Vitor Roque, and Ferran Torres during the transfer window. He added that the goal is to reduce the wage bill and trim the squad size for Hansi Flick before making new signings.

Morito also mentioned that Hansi Flick has informed Laporta that this quartet will not have a place in the team this season, and their departure would be beneficial for both the players and the club. Those who refuse to leave will be benched and will not play a single minute throughout the season.

It’s reported that Clement Lenglet is close to joining Atletico Madrid, Mikel Faye is likely to move to the Premier League, Vitor Roque is set to join Real Betis on loan, but Ferran Torres is the only player refusing to leave.
