Surprise French star offers his services to Barcelona after Bernal’s injury

Gerard Romero, the renowned journalist, has revealed the names that could potentially compensate for the long absence of young Marc Bernal due to his injury at Barcelona. The talented 17-year-old Spanish midfielder suffered a cruciate ligament injury and will be out for at least six months, effectively ending his season with the club.

Romero, who specializes in Barcelona news, mentioned that several players have been suggested as replacements for Bernal’s injury, with one prominent name being former Juventus and French national team player Adrien Rabiot. After Bernal’s injury, Rabiot was offered to Barcelona to strengthen the team’s midfield, especially since he could also fill the gap left by Gundogan’s departure.

Rabiot is seen as an ideal option for Barcelona since he is currently without a club, but the main issue is his high annual salary. If Rabiot agrees to reduce his wage demands, the Catalan club could sign him immediately. The final decision, however, lies with German coach Hansi Flick. Joan Laporta is waiting for Flick’s approval to begin negotiations with the French player.
