Real Madrid duo sho.ck Ancelotti with injury after Lille match

Real Madrid, under the guidance of coach Carlo Ancelotti, faced a setback as two players suffered injuries following their Champions League clash with Lille.

The Spanish giants were defeated 1-0 by Lille, with Canadian striker Jonathan David securing the win for the French side. During the match, Ancelotti was forced to substitute Brazilian forward Rodrygo due to back issues. Initially, the plan was to start with Rodrygo, but his condition kept him out of action entirely.

Additionally, Brazilian defender Éder Militão, who had been experiencing discomfort since the first half, was replaced after showing signs of injury. He was later seen with an ice pack on his left quadriceps muscle. Militão is expected to undergo further tests upon his return to Madrid to assess the extent of his injury.
