As Carlo Ancelotti mentioned before last Saturday’s match against Villarreal, Güler expressed satisfaction with his current situation, noting that he’s playing more this season compared to when he first arrived. For the former Fenerbahçe player, there’s no issue between him and the Real Madrid coach, although he naturally wishes for more minutes. “There is no problem between me and Carlo Ancelotti. I have more playing time this year. Of course, I want to play every game, but that’s normal. Everything is fine. No issues,” Güler assured the Turkish media.

Though there have been rumors linking him to a potential return to his former club, now managed by José Mourinho, who reportedly wants him for the Europa League in January, Güler has no plans to leave. From the start, the attacking midfielder has been determined to make his mark at Real Madrid. Regardless, Ancelotti, who is constantly seeking the perfect balance, will have to continue working with the young star, who has rejected all loan offers aimed at giving him more playing time elsewhere.
