Comparison in Real Madrid about two players: they can only sign one of them because of the price

Real Madrid is actively considering the addition of a top midfielder for next season, but they will only pursue one option due to financial constraints. Internal discussions are focused on the 2025 transfer market, aiming to find a player who can enhance Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, especially given the current midfield’s technical shortcomings.

According to Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, the club is looking to the Bundesliga, where they have identified two standout players from the national team: Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz. However, acquiring both could cost over 200 million euros, necessitating a decision to sign just one of them.

Real Madrid is aware that other clubs in the English Premier League are aggressively pursuing Musiala and Wirtz, complicating their efforts. The club is closely monitoring developments in England regarding these players, adding further challenges to their plans.

Reports indicate that president Florentino Pérez considers Florian Wirtz to be the best fit for Real Madrid. Additionally, club legend Toni Kroos has endorsed Wirtz to Pérez, praising his exceptional abilities. The situation suggests that Real Madrid will face stiff competition next summer for Wirtz’s signature, particularly from Pep Guardiola and Manchester City, who are also interested in the player if Guardiola remains with the club.
