Al-Hilal are reportedly considering a bid for Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr as a potential replacement for Brazil team-mate Neymar, whose future in the Saudi Pro League is now in doubt.

Vinicius Jr has been in outstanding form over the past few seasons, establishing himself as one of the best players in the world. The Brazilian is considered a top contender for the 2024 Ballon d’Or. However, his time in Europe may be coming to an end sooner than expected.

According to Marca, Al-Hilal are considering making another significant offer to Real Madrid for Vinicius Jr, as they remain uncertain about Neymar’s future with his contract at the Saudi club set to expire next summer. The Saudi Pro League champions also tried to sign Vinicius in the summer in a bid to strengthen their squad for the season, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Madrid are reportedly aware of Al-Hilal’s interest in Vinicius Jr, but the 15-time Champions League winners are not overly concerned due to the winger’s €1 billion (£840m/$1.1bn) release clause. Los Blancos are confident that the 24-year-old is keen to remain in the Spanish capital and has no intentions of leaving.
