Mbappé Denies Rape Allegations, Calls Them “Fake News”

Kylian Mbappé, the French football star and Real Madrid forward, is facing serious allegations of rape after a visit to Sweden. However, Mbappé has strongly denied the claims, dismissing them as “fake news” and slander.

Swedish media reports, including from Aftonbladet and Expressen, suggest that the 25-year-old player is under investigation for an alleged rape that occurred in central Stockholm. Reports indicate that Mbappé was in the Swedish capital last week, where he dined with a group and later visited a nightclub. A complaint was reportedly filed with police on Saturday.

Mbappé took to social media to refute the allegations, labeling them as predictable and timed to coincide with an upcoming hearing regarding his financial dispute with former club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Mbappé is currently seeking $90 million in unpaid wages from PSG.

In a statement to the press, Mbappé’s representatives called the accusations “completely false and irresponsible,” vowing to take legal action against anyone perpetuating these defamatory claims.

Mbappé, a World Cup winner with France in 2018, remains one of the most prominent and highest-paid athletes in the world, making this controversy a high-profile case in the sporting world.
