Flick and Deco want to ki.ck him out of Barcelona but no team wants to sign him

Barcelona is having a generally stable season, with positive results under German coach Hansi Flick, which aligns with the Catalan club’s goals for technical and institutional stability. As the team prepares for crucial matches following the international break, Flick aims to widen their lead at the top of La Liga ahead of the El Clasico against Real Madrid.

According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport,” Deco is eager to facilitate Ferran Torres’ departure from Barcelona. He has attempted to connect the striker with various clubs since last summer, but with little success. For instance, Arsenal rejected Ferran in favor of loaning Raheem Sterling, who has more Premier League experience.

This situation suggests that Ferran is not currently a priority for major European clubs, leaving Barcelona in a difficult position as they struggle to market him. Flick does not view Ferran as a key player in his plans, and despite some chances, Ferran’s performances have not been impressive.

Flick is open to letting Ferran leave if a suitable replacement can be found to bolster the attack. However, the high fee Barcelona hopes to recoup complicates matters. With a contract running until 2027, Ferran isn’t under pressure to move, further hindering any potential transfer.

Barcelona also needs to create salary space and generate funds for their midfield and attack, but the lack of interest in Ferran limits those options. While Deco and Flick agree that a transfer would benefit Ferran, he will remain with the team until the transfer window opens.
