Flick brings good news to Barcelona fans: The golden trio will return before the matches against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid

Barcelona has a hectic two weeks ahead, beginning with a match against Sevilla tonight and culminating in a derby against Espanyol, with games against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in between. The team aims to capitalize on these crucial matches that will shape their season, and Flick stresses the need to navigate these challenges successfully.

Additionally, Flick has good news for Barcelona supporters: the return of the key trio before the upcoming games against Bayern and Real Madrid. According to El Nacional, Flick has also welcomed three new players to the squad: Gavi, returning after 11 months, along with Fermin Lopez and Dani Olmo.

Flick noted, “Gavi will definitely be on the bench, and I’m excited to see him in training; he has a great attitude. The same applies to Fermin; he will be able to play. As for Dani, we’ll have him on the bench, but our main focus is on Wednesday.”

However, not all news is positive for Flick. He had planned to start Frenkie de Jong, but due to some physical discomfort, he won’t be able to. Flick clarified, “We will assess Frenkie before the Bayern Munich match to gauge his condition. He’s been training well lately, and I was counting on him to start, but now we’ll wait until tomorrow. He finished training with the team yesterday after feeling discomfort and worked separately today.”
