tells Laporta to sell this player in January
German coach Hansi Flick of Barcelona has advised club president Joan Laporta to sell one of the first-team players in the upcoming winter transfer window. Recently, Flick led Barcelona to a convincing 4-0 victory over Real Madrid at their home ground in La Liga.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport,” Barcelona has informed Ansu Fati and his agent Jorge Mendes that the final decision regarding a potential January transfer will rest with them. The report suggests that the club wouldn’t oppose a loan move for Fati if a suitable offer comes along, as he has struggled to find playing time under Flick due to the coach’s lack of confidence in him, particularly following Fati’s recent underwhelming performances.
Additionally, Flick has encouraged Fati to consider leaving in January, given his limited chances of playing. This season, Fati has made five appearances for Barcelona, totaling just 132 minutes without scoring.
