Barcelona’s concerns over Dani Olmo’s January registration grows due to financial issues – reports

Barcelona are increasingly worried about how to register Dani Olmo for the remainder of the 2024/25 season, according to Sport.

Dani Olmo and Pau Victor are both registered only until December 31, and the club needs a financial boost to extend their registrations for the rest of the season. Barcelona’s management had anticipated generating the necessary revenue, but that hasn’t happened.

The club’s financial situation is not as strong as they would like. Joan Laporta and his team expected the new Nike deal to be finalized by now, which would have provided a revenue increase, but this has been delayed until January. Additionally, they’ve faced challenges securing funds from the Barca Vision project due to investment firm Libero’s failure to make required payments.

Olmo has scored three goals in four La Liga matches this season and is expected to start against Espanyol this weekend.
