€85 million-rated Napoli winger open to future Barcelona, Real Madrid move, confirms agent
This allure continues to be a significant factor in attracting high-caliber talent to Barcelona, even amid the club’s financial difficulties.
Prominent figures like Robert Lewandowski, Ilkay Gundogan, and Joao Cancelo have been lured to Barcelona due to its rich history and esteemed reputation, a draw that also seems to captivate younger players.
Recently, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, suggested that the 22-year-old Georgian winger might consider a future move to FC Barcelona or Real Madrid, stating, “When Kvara is ready to play for Real Madrid or FC Barcelona, it will be evaluated in the future.”
This interest isn’t surprising, as many players dream of representing one of the El Clasico rivals based on personal preferences.
It’s also worth noting that Napoli will soon face Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League Group C this season. Although Real Madrid previously showed interest in Kvaratskhelia, a transfer didn’t materialize. However, with his father’s strong support forBarcelona, a move to the Catalan club could still be a possibility.
Currently, Kvaratskhelia and his team view Naples as the best environment for his development, particularly given the team’s strength, as highlighted by his agent:
“When you have teammates like Osimhen, Di Lorenzo, or Zielinski, it shows the team’s strength, which is why we’re not considering leaving Napoli.”
Despite no progress on a contract renewal with Napoli, the agent mentioned:
“There are no talks about renewing; we’re content with our current contract. Our focus is on defending the Scudetto and advancing in the Champions League. Kvara loves the city and his teammates, so we’re not concerned with media speculation.”
The UEFA Champions League remains a primary focus for top European clubs, and both Napoli and FC Barcelona are aiming for strong showings in the tournament, given the talent in their squads.
