Real Madrid’s decline continues following their disappointing 3-1 loss to Milan in the Champions League at the Bernabeu. Fans had hoped for a strong rebound after their Clasico defeat to Barcelona, but the team’s performance against Milan was underwhelming.

According to Spanish outlet *Defensa Central*, the club is currently struggling, with many players experiencing a drop in form. In particular, Aurelien Tchouameni and Lucas Vazquez were singled out for their poor performances in the Milan match.

Both players have failed to meet expectations in their roles. Lucas Vazquez, whose contract expires in June 2025, may be nearing the end of his time at Madrid, especially after Dani Carvajal’s recent renewal. Real Madrid are planning to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold in January, which could lead to Vazquez accepting a more lucrative offer elsewhere.

Tchouameni, initially seen as a replacement for Casemiro in the defensive midfield role, has struggled to live up to expectations since his promising start at the club. Despite a strong debut, his form has dipped significantly, and he has yet to regain full fitness. While Tchouameni’s departure seemed unlikely, the club is now open to selling him in the summer of 2025 if a suitable offer comes in, as his current form no longer aligns with Real Madrid’s ambitions for him as a key player.
