Zidane’s Grand Return: Agreement Reached, Announcement Imminent
As Carlo Ancelotti’s position at Real Madrid grows increasingly uncertain following a 1-3 defeat to AC Milan in the Champions League, Zinédine Zidane is emerging as his likely successor. According to several internal sources, Zidane has already reached an agreement with Florentino Pérez to return as the head coach.
Free since his departure in 2021, the former Real Madrid manager seems ready to take on the role he held between 2016 and 2018, with a renewed sense of motivation. Zidane is particularly excited about the prospect of coaching Kylian Mbappé, one of Paris Saint-Germain’s stars, who could be joining the Madrid ranks soon.
Negotiations appear to be well advanced, and an official announcement could come in the coming days if Ancelotti’s situation continues to deteriorate. The club’s management does not rule out taking immediate action to change direction should poor results persist.
