RAC1 reports that Barcelona’s new contract with Nike won’t be sufficient for the club to register Dani Olmo for the second half of the season. Earlier reports had suggested that the significant signing bonus from the Nike deal would allow for the registration of Olmo and Pau Victor.
The club’s board of directors has reportedly approved the new Nike agreement, which will last until 2038 and be worth a total of €1.7 billion. Although Barcelona had initially planned to announce the deal over the summer, they chose to delay the announcement and negotiate certain terms in more detail.
Additionally, a leak of Barcelona’s third kit design for next season has surfaced.
