Perez surprises Ancelotti and tells him: The player wants to come to Real Madrid
Real Madrid is considering potential squad reinforcements for next season, with the possibility of making moves in the winter transfer window, although this remains uncertain.
Carlo Ancelotti has been informed by Florentino Pérez that Trent Alexander-Arnold is eager to join Real Madrid. However, a January transfer seems unlikely, as Liverpool are not willing to sell the player mid-season. As a result, any deal is expected to be completed after July 1, when Arnold will officially no longer be under contract with the English club.
According to *Defensa Central*, Arnold is seen as a key addition to strengthen the right-back position, particularly given the club’s urgent need to find a long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal. This need has become even more pressing following Carvajal’s serious injury, with doubts surrounding his form upon recovery.
Despite the challenges, Real Madrid has not ruled out the possibility of securing Arnold in January. The club is reportedly ready to offer up to €25 million if Liverpool can secure a replacement during the winter window. However, if Liverpool cannot find a suitable replacement, it will be almost impossible for them to let go of one of their star players during such a critical period, especially as they compete for major titles, including the Champions League.
