Arda Güler Considers Bold Move Away from Real Madrid
Barely used by Carlo Ancelotti since the start of the season, young Turkish talent Arda Güler is reportedly contemplating a crucial decision about his future at Real Madrid. Frustrated by his lack of playing time, he may seek a move away from the club as early as the January transfer window.
A Possible Return to Fenerbahçe for Güler?
According to Eduardo Inda, a journalist for Okdiario, Güler could return to his former club, Fenerbahçe, during the upcoming winter transfer window. Speaking on the El Chiringuito show, Inda pointed out that Güler has barely featured this season, with Saturday’s match being one of the few where he was given a start.
Inda further added that the player is “very frustrated” with his situation, and that Carlo Ancelotti does not appear to favor him, despite Güler being liked by Ancelotti’s son, Davide. The Spanish journalist mentioned that Ancelotti believes Güler lacks the “physicality and character” needed to make an impact in the team.
Loan Move to Fenerbahçe Under Mourinho?
Inda concluded by suggesting that a loan move for Güler in January is a real possibility, with Fenerbahçe—now managed by José Mourinho—emerging as one of the most likely destinations. A loan spell could provide the young midfielder with the opportunity to gain more playing time and revive his career.
