Despite Real Madrid’s commanding win over Osasuna, there are concerns for coach Carlo Ancelotti that he may have already noticed. While the team’s strong performance helped alleviate some doubts about Ancelotti’s squad, the match also revealed several issues, including injuries to key players.

Ancelotti is focused on preparing for the upcoming game against Leganés, and will make decisions about the starting lineup in due course. However, one concern has left him uneasy, which his son, Davide, is already aware of.

According to the Spanish newspaper *Defensa Central*, Ancelotti made minimal changes to the lineup, opting to rest Ferland Mendy and Luka Modrić while giving Fran García and Eduardo Camavinga a chance following the Champions League defeat to Milan. In goal, Andriy Lunin took over for Thibaut Courtois, who is sidelined with a thigh injury. Lunin delivered an impressive performance, showcasing his shot-stopping ability and leadership, and played a key role in Vinícius’ second goal with a smart assist.

While Lunin’s performance was commendable, Ancelotti plans to reinstate Courtois as soon as he recovers, which will see Lunin return to the bench. Nonetheless, Ancelotti is acutely aware of the valuable contribution Lunin makes, especially as he hasn’t been at fault for any goals conceded. The coach confided to his assistant Davide that while it pains him to drop Lunin, he cannot leave a goalkeeper of Courtois’ quality on the bench.
