Hansi Flick is having problems with Barcelona player and is seriously considering expelling him from the team in January
Barcelona is planning several moves in the upcoming winter transfer window, with a focus on offloading players who are dissatisfied with their roles under coach Hansi Flick. Some players are reportedly open to leaving the club in search of more playing time at other teams. Among those potentially departing are Gerard Martín, Héctor Fort, Ansumane Fati, Eric García, and Pablo Torre.
One player whose future is uncertain is Pau Víctor, who made a strong impression during pre-season. Initially expected to stay with the reserve team, Pau Víctor exceeded expectations, earning a spot in the first team and becoming the top scorer in La Liga last season. This performance led Barcelona to retain him, despite initial plans to loan him out.
Although Pau Víctor had been considered as a potential backup for Robert Lewandowski, Barcelona ultimately chose to keep him over Vitor Roque, the €60 million signing who joined Real Betis. However, despite these high expectations, Pau Víctor has struggled to get playing time under Flick. His role was expected to be secondary, but the lack of opportunities has frustrated him. He has expressed his dissatisfaction and asked his agent to speak with the club’s management to address the situation.
If his lack of playing time continues, Pau Víctor is prepared to leave in January to pursue a new challenge. Several La Liga clubs have shown interest in signing him, including Valencia, Mallorca, Real Sociedad, Leganés, Valladolid, and Getafe, putting him in a strong position to make a move.
