Barcelona want to sell Christensen with Jonathan Tah incoming – reports

Barcelona does not see Andreas Christensen as part of their future plans, according to Matteo Moretto of Relevo. The club intends to sell Christensen in 2025 to make space for Jonathan Tah, who is expected to join on a free transfer next summer.

Christensen has performed well since arriving at Barcelona for free in the summer of 2022, but injuries have hampered his progress this season, limiting him to just one appearance. The Danish defender is expected to return by January, but his departure next summer now seems likely.

Multiple Premier League clubs are reportedly keeping a close eye on Christensen, who will turn 29 in April. Meanwhile, Jonathan Tah is set to leave Bayer Leverkusen and is reportedly weighing a decision between Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
