Hansi Flick is having problems with Barcelona player and is seriously considering expelling him from the team in January
Barcelona are preparing for several moves in the upcoming winter transfer window, particularly in terms of player departures.
A few players are unhappy with their current roles under manager Hansi Flick, prompting them to consider leaving in search of more playing time elsewhere. Players such as Gerard Martín, Héctor Fort, Ansumane Fati, Eric García, and Pablo Torre are among those who could be on the move.
One player whose future is uncertain is Pau Víctor, who impressed during pre-season and exceeded expectations by earning a spot in the first team, despite initial plans to keep him in the reserves. His standout performances, including becoming the top scorer in La Liga last season, led Barcelona to decide to retain him. However, doubts remain about whether he will stay under Flick or be loaned out.
Despite these uncertainties, Pau Víctor expressed his willingness to serve as Robert Lewandowski’s backup, leading Barcelona to prioritize keeping him over Vitor Roque, who was signed for €60 million (including fixed and variable fees) and subsequently moved to Real Betis.
However, despite high expectations, Pau Víctor has not been given any playing time under Flick. His role was initially expected to be a secondary one, but the lack of opportunities has frustrated him. He has publicly voiced his discontent and asked his agent to discuss the matter with the club’s management in hopes of finding a resolution.
If this situation persists and Pau Víctor continues to see little playing time, he is prepared to leave Barcelona in January to pursue a new opportunity. Several La Liga clubs, including Valencia, Mallorca, Real Sociedad, Leganés, Valladolid, and Getafe, have shown interest, giving him good prospects for a move.
