Lamine Yamal ex,plodes with anger at Barcelona star and asks Flick to exclude him from the team’s lineup
Barcelona drew 2-2 with Real Betis in an exciting match yesterday evening during the 16th round of the Spanish League. The game ended with both teams earning one point, keeping Barcelona at the top of the standings with 38 points, while Real Betis raised their total to 21 points, placing them in 11th position.
According to the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, the most upset and disappointed player after the draw was the talented Lamine Yamal, who fought hard until the end to secure a win for Barcelona. The newspaper reported that Yamal is exceptionally angry with one of his teammates and has asked coach Hansi Flick to permanently exclude him from the lineup this season.
Yamal is said to be particularly frustrated with Dutch player Frenkie de Jong and believes that whenever De Jong is on the field, the match turns against Barcelona. Yamal also mentioned that he feels more at ease when playing alongside Pedri and Olmo, as the team’s dynamics change when De Jong is involved.
The report concluded by stating that Barcelona’s management is considering negotiating De Jong’s departure in the upcoming January transfer window and is looking to sign a new midfielder to replace him, possibly at a lower salary.
