Hansi Flick: ‘Yamal will be ready to play in the Super Cup’

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has provided updates on the statuses of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, who both missed the Barbastro match.

After the team’s 4-0 victory, Flick shared: “I believe Lamine will be ready to play in the Spanish Super Cup.”

“Raphinha has been dealing with some issues. He trained today, but we chose not to include him.”

Yamal is progressing well in his recovery from injury and is expected to return sooner than anticipated, making him available for the Super Cup.

Raphinha should also be ready for the tournament, having been given extra rest by missing the Copa Del Rey match.

Flick also shared his thoughts on Ansu Fati’s brief appearance against Barbastro.
