Barca receive reprieve as CSD grants provisional registration for Olmo and Victor

Barcelona has reportedly received a major boost ahead of the Spanish Super Cup Final after the Superior Council of Sports (CSD) granted a precautionary measure, allowing the club to temporarily register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

This decision means that Olmo and Victor could be available to play in the Super Cup Final on Sunday, although they will miss tomorrow’s match against Athletic Club.

The CSD’s ruling follows Barcelona submitting a 52-page document, along with 60 supporting documents, to justify their request for the players’ registration.

The council will make a final decision on their availability for the remainder of the season at a later time.

The provisional registration of Olmo and Victor is a significant relief for Barcelona, who have been uncertain about the players’ eligibility.

In related news, Milan is reportedly offering a six-month deal to sign Dani Olmo amid Barcelona’s registration issues.
