BARCELONA FANS CONTINUE TO TAKE AIM AT 2 PLAYERS DESPITE WIN OVER ATHLETIC CLUB
Barcelona supporters have strongly criticized two prominent players from the club’s first-team following their recent match against Athletic Club.
This comes after the team’s performance in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final.
Hansi Flick’s squad was back in action after traveling to Saudi Arabia for the match.
Despite some struggles, Barcelona secured a place in the final, thanks to goals from Gavi and Lamine Yamal.
However, as mentioned earlier, this victory did not prevent two players from receiving significant criticism from the fanbase.
The two players in question are Frenkie de Jong and Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski started the match against Athletic, while De Jong came on during the second half.
The striker had difficulty influencing the game, and the midfielder was fortunate not to concede a late goal due to some careless play in midfield.
Both players have been heavily criticized for some time in Barcelona, and once again, many fans took to social media to demand that Lewandowski and De Jong be sold as soon as possible.
