Barcelona is preparing for a crucial first-leg Copa del Rey semi-final clash against Atletico Madrid, with Flick aiming to secure qualification without waiting for the return leg.
Reports suggest that Flick is considering starting Ferran Torres over Robert Lewandowski, based on requests from Barcelona players Pedri and Raphinha.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Flick plans to keep Raphinha and Lamine Yamal in the starting lineup, while resting Lewandowski, who was underwhelming in the previous match against Las Palmas. Torres, who impressed with a goal in the last game, is set to start instead.
So far this season, Torres has played in 27 matches for Barcelona, scoring 11 goals and providing 3 assists. The first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals will take place today, Tuesday, at Montjuic Stadium.
