Barcelona offers the deal of the season on a silver platter to Real Madrid

Recent reports suggest that both clubs are vying for Brazilian defender Victor Reis, an 18-year-old talent from Palmeiras. According to the Catalan newspaper “Mundo Deportivo,” Barcelona has shown interest in Reis through various player agents. However, Palmeiras is determined to retain him until at least the 2025 Club World Cup and is not considering any offers at this time.

Reis is under contract with his club until the summer of 2028, with a release clause set at 100 million euros. The report indicates that despite a strong relationship between Barcelona and Palmeiras, the Catalan club now views the Reis transfer as a low priority due to the steep price, giving Real Madrid a significant edge in negotiations.

Notably, Victor Reis was named the best defender in South America for players under 21 and has attracted interest from several major European clubs looking to sign him.
