According to Jijantes, the Barcelona president had to cancel a traditional lunch with the Barbastro board ahead of the Copa Del Rey match between the two teams.

He made this decision at the last moment due to ongoing complications with the Spanish federation and La Liga rejecting their request to register the two players.

Laporta has played a key role in restoring Barcelona’s 1:1 rule, which allows the club to make signings as usual. However, the registration issue for Olmo and Victor remains unresolved.
