BARCELONABarcelona set to receive triple injury boost right after the international break

SPORTGLITZ BARCELONA: Injury Boost on the Horizon After International Break**

Barcelona has faced a challenging season start due to multiple player injuries, forcing coach Hansi Flick to manage without several key players. Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araujo, and Ansu Fati were all unavailable prior to the season. Since then, the injured list has expanded to include Andreas Christensen, Marc Bernal, Dani Olmo, Fermin Lopez, and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

However, there’s promising news for the Blaugrana. Fati and De Jong have recently returned to play, and now reports from Mundo Deportivo suggest that Gavi, Dani Olmo, and Fermin Lopez are also set to be back after the October international break.

Olmo has been sidelined since facing Girona, missing four matches, but is expected to return for the La Liga game against Sevilla. Fermin suffered a muscle injury in early September while with the Under-21 team, and after a setback in training, he is also projected to be available for the Sevilla match.

Robert Lewandowski, who returned to Barcelona on October 16 for medical tests, has been confirmed to have only a severe bruise on his right tibia, making him available for the first La Liga game after the break. This comes just a day after he sustained a dangerous challenge in Poland’s UEFA Nations League match against Croatia.

Meanwhile, Gavi, recovering from a ten-month ACL injury, has started training with the team but the club is cautious about rushing his return, aiming for a comeback either against Sevilla or in the subsequent matches against Bayern Munich or Real Madrid
