Dani Olmo’s father gets involved in trying to register midfielder in La Liga

Dani Olmo’s father, Miquel Olmo, is currently working to help register the player with La Liga, according to Carlos Monfort of Jijantes FC. On Thursday, Miquel and Olmo’s lawyer, Ramon Valencia, visited the sports complex to explore options for registering the player. However, there’s little that Olmo or his family can do in this situation.

Barcelona must find a way to raise €60 million to comply with La Liga’s 1:1 financial rule in order to register him. Since Olmo’s salary was agreed upon in August and cannot be altered, the situation could become critical if Barcelona fails to resolve it before January. Barcelona and La Liga are scheduled to go to court on December 23, as the Catalan club looks for a solution, with one option being to remove Marc-André ter Stegen from the squad.
